Michael Wilson is a licensed CPA practicing in the Greater Memphis area. He is native Memphian and graduate of Craigmont High School, Rhodes College (BA), and Indiana University (MBA). He has also studied International Capital Markets abroad in Singapore.
Michael began his career with Ernst & Young LLP as a public accountant. Later as an investment banker at Banc of America Securities, he managed over $3 billion of corporate debt financings in the capital markets industry. Through his auditing experience and structuring capital market financing, he has acquired invaluable insight into how to help small businesses develop financial strategies that have enabled them to manage through tough business cycles.
A member of the 2011 graduating class of Leadership Memphis, Michael has served the Memphis community through his commitment to Junior Achievement, the Southside Boys and Girls Club, and the First Tee of Memphis. He has held leadership positions in many organizations, including the 100 Black Men of Memphis and his Fraternity, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Incorporated.
Danny Parker received a BS in Industrial Engineering, an MBA, and a JD – all from Stanford University.
His corporate legal, financial and strategic planning experience has been in various industries – construction materials, real estate development, music, financial services, and tech. For professional athletes,
he negotiated and structured business deals.
He currently provides financial and legal services to social media, ATM management, vending, spirits, and beverage dispensing firms.
He volunteers extensively with Stanford and community organizations in Pasadena. He is a member of the California Bar.
Sean Norris has over 35 years of commercial banking, business development, financial services sales and analyst leadership experience. Currently providing customized lending services to middle market companies, family offices and UHNW Individuals at Sorkaty Capital Advisors, he is a former Senior Vice President of Commercial Banking at Truist Bank.
Norris, began his career as an Investment Sales Representative with First Investors Corporation, New York. He joined Oxford Capital Securities’ Fixed Income Institutional Sales division, ascending to sales production and sales management positions in Private Placements, Mid Corporate High Yield Placement, Financial Sponsor Sales and Debt Advisory and Placement with their Proprietary Lending Group. His group oversaw nearly $1B in debt and alternative transactions. He went on to serve as president of Gotham City Sports Group, directing their national business development.
Norris has held commercial lending and business development roles at JP Morgan Chase, Praetorian Consulting Group, First Horizon Bancorp, TKS Capital Advisors, and Pathway Lending. In that time, he has arranged, sold, and advised on over $2B of senior debt transactions to businesses across the US.
Daniel Coates has over 25 years of experience creating effective marketing and advertising
campaigns, and assisting companies in start-up and scale-up operations in the for-profit business,
non-profit and government sectors.
A graduate of Memphis College of Art, he embraces a pragmatic, client-oriented philosophy spanning a variety of business disciplines with the client’s needs and the ultimate success of the project or campaign as driving factors for development, creative approach and programmatic direction. This approach allows for the efficient creation of tightly targeted concepts that can be economically delivered within realistic timelines.
After over 15 years as a business professional and entrepreneur, he entered the business development and consulting space in 2012 and has been instrumental in the start-up and expansion of over fifty regional companies.
